We offer comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. The evaluations are offered individually or as an initial step in beginning therapy. Psychological assessment is used to determine the presence of behavioral health concerns and differentiate between possible diagnoses (e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD). The results of the evaluation are used to make treatment recommendations and provide information to the patient and his or her providers. We utilize a variety of assessment procedures including interviewing, standardized self-report measures and qualitative observation. Psychological assessments may take place in one session or may be divided between several sessions. Patients will be provided feedback regarding the findings of the assessment, diagnoses and recommendations. They will also be provided a written report of the findings and recommendations.
