We offer comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. These evaluations are offered as an individual service, or as an initial step in beginning therapy. Psychological assessment is used to determine the presence of behavioral health concerns and differentiate between possible diagnoses (e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD). The results of the evaluation are used to make treatment recommendations and provide information to the patient and his/her providers. We utilize a variety of assessment procedures including interviewing, standardized self-report measures and qualitative observation. Psychological assessments may take place in one session or may be divided between several sessions. Patients will be provided feedback regarding the findings of the assessment, diagnoses and recommendations. They will also be provided a written report of the findings and recommendations.
We also offer evaluations associated with the completion of Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) for Veterans who are applying for service-connected benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Please contact us for rates and availability, or with any additional questions.
